Interim Service (6-Month Service)
We provide an interim service tailored for vehicles with high mileage or for those requiring more frequent maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer. Typically carried out every six months, this service ensures your vehicle remains in optimal, roadworthy condition by focusing on key elements such as oil and filter changes, along with other essential checks.
Full Service (12-Month Service)
Our Full Service is significantly more comprehensive than an Interim Service and is typically conducted annually. It encompasses a broad range of inspections and replacements, going beyond the standard recommendations of your vehicle’s manufacturer. This includes essential items such as engine oil, oil filter, and air filter ensuring your vehicle remains in top condition and providing you with added peace of mind.
Major Service (24-Month Service)
Our Full Service is more detailed than an Interim Service and is usually done once a year. It covers a wide range of checks and replacements to keep your car in excellent condition, going beyond what most manufacturers recommend. This includes changing the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin pollen filter, and fuel filter for your peace of mind.

What is a Service?
A service is a routine check-up for your vehicle, carried out at a garage as recommended by the manufacturer. During a service, specific components are inspected and tested based on your vehicle’s make, model, age, and mileage.
When is my Service due?
The recommended service schedule depends on your vehicle’s make and model. Most manufacturers suggest a half-year (or 6,000-mile) service and a full-year (or 12,000-mile) service to maintain your car’s condition and help identify potential issues before they become costly repairs.
What's included in Interim Service?
An interim service typically includes oil and filter changes, along with checks on the bonnet, vehicle underside, electrics, and exterior. Refer to your manufacturer’s handbook for specific details.
What's included in Full Service?
How long does a Service take?
We provide same-day servicing and repairs. If your vehicle requires extended time for major work, we’ll inform you promptly.
Do you stamp the service records?
Yes, we stamp your service book directly, ensuring it’s always up-to-date—essential for maintaining value when selling or trading your vehicle.
MOT
What is a MOT?
The MOT (Ministry of Transport) test is a legal requirement conducted annually from the third year after your vehicle’s registration. It ensures your vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards, confirming it is legal to drive.
When is my MOT due?
Your MOT is required every year, starting three years after your vehicle’s registration. You can schedule your test up to one month before it expires.
What if my MOT has expired?
Driving without a valid MOT is illegal. If your MOT has expired, you must not drive until your vehicle passes its test. Being caught can result in a fine of up to £1,000 and will invalidate your insurance.
What does an MOT cover?
What if my vehicle fails the MOT?
If your car fails its MOT, you’ll receive a ‘Refusal of MOT Certificate’ listing the faults and advisories that need fixing. These issues must be resolved before a retest. You’re only allowed to drive the car to a garage for repairs or retesting.
How long does an MOT take?
An MOT typically takes 45-60 minutes if no issues are found. However, if faults need to be repaired and the test retaken, the process may take longer, depending on the repairs required.
